
ITI completes summer training for 10,000 university students

ITI partnered last October with Apple, the global company, to accredit the institute as the company’s first training center in Africa.
The agreement between the ITI and the NBE provides opportunities for employment in the bank after training for a limited number of distinguished trainees.
Chairperson of the ITI Heba Saleh said that this partnership comes within the framework of the increasing demand to support the labour market with qualified human cadres and establishing new partnerships that enhance the training grants provided by the institute.
The agreement was signed at the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in Nasr City. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and Chairperson of NBE Hisham Okasha
Heba Saleh, the Director of the IT, said in a press release issued on Saturday that this training course comes within the institute’s mission to train and qualify Egyptian youths for the labour market in the ICT sector.
The cooperation agreement was signed by ITI head Heba Salih and Matt Britten, President of Google, for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The signing took place via video conference, and was witnessed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat.
