TAQA Arabia has existing investments in Tanzania. The company has already started implementing investments worth more than $11m through building and managing 12 stations for supplying cars with compressed natural gas and centres to convert various types of cars to operate with natural gas in the city of Dar Al-Salaam and the surrounding areas. This will save transportation costs by about 40% in gasoline-powered vehicles and about 22% for diesel-powered vehicles.
