EECE monthly report revealed that exports recorded an increase of 35% in September to reach $320.6m compared to $237.8m in September 2020.
The country’s engineering exports rose by 49% in the first four months (4M) of fiscal year (FY) 2020/21 reaching $967.7m. This compared to the $650.2m recorded during the same period of FY 2019/2020.
Egypt’s engineering exports increased by 8% to $1.340bn in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2020/21, compared to $1.240bn during the same period of FY 2019/20.
Egypt’s engineering exports increased by 6% to $1.11bn in the first five months (5M) of fiscal year (FY) 2020/21, compared to $1.05bn during the same period of FY 2019/20.
The EEC conducted a study of Chinese exports to gather information on the most important products and goods that it exports to its target countries. It then compared China’s figures with Egypt’s export capabilities for these products.
