Executive Director of the Engineering Export Council of Egypt, May Helmy, stated that the Council seeks to open new export markets, especially in Africa, in order to support the state’s plans to promote exports and achieve the goal of increasing exports to $100bn in the coming years.
Egypt’s engineering exports increased by 6% to $1.11bn in the first five months (5M) of fiscal year (FY) 2020/21, compared to $1.05bn during the same period of FY 2019/20.
HATS Egypt is organised in partnership with Konzept – Cairo-based event management and market consultancy firm – and sponsored by the Export Development Bank of Egypt. The first edition will also be supported by the Export Development Authority.
