Egypt Post has issued a commemorative stamp on the occasion of Egypt’s hosting of the 2021 World Men’s Handball Championship.

Sherif Farouk, Chairperson of Egypt Post, said that holding this international competition in Egypt is a historic event that reflects world’s confidence in the country’s ability to organise major tournaments despite the exceptional circumstances associated with the novel cornoavirus pandemic.

He added that Egypt Post issued the commemorative stamp to document this important event.

The new stamp features the championship logo and the Egyptian flag in the background, with silhouettes of handball players in different playing positions during a game. The stamp costs EGP 5.
