Alaa El-Din Mohamed Amer and Ashraf Mahmoud El-Dabaa are shortlisted for the Chairperson position of the Misr for Central Clearing, Depositary, and Registry (MCSD). The final list has been approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).

On 18 June, MCSD announced that it would open the door for candidates to complete the company’s current Board of Directors’ 2018-2021 tenure.

Application submissions began on 21 June and closed on 25 June. The company indicated that the term of the elected chairperson ends with the conclusion of the board’s term on 17 July 2021.
