Shell Egypthas announced the appointment of Khaled Kacem as the Chairperson and Managing Director of the Company, replacing  Gasser Hanter, to commence his duties as of May 2019.
Hanter will continue to serve as chairperson and Managing Director until mid-May.
The company said in a statement on Sunday that it is seeking to increase its activities and investments and intensify efforts in the oil sector development program of the Ministry of Petroleum, which will contribute to support the state plan to transform Egypt into a regional energy center.
