Banque Misr and Tharwa Capital arrange the issue of securitisation bonds for Tharwa Secularisation worth EGP 174m

Banque Misr has arranged, promoted, and guaranteed the coverage and receipt of the subscriptions for the 23rd issuance of the Tharwa securitization bonds worth EGP 174m.

According to a statement issued by the bank, the issuance was conducted in collaboration between Banque Misr and Tharwa Capital as promoter and underwriter, while Tharwa Capital served as a financial advisor to the transaction.

This process is a confirmation of the success of Banque Misr in arranging, promoting, and managing the issuance of bonds for companies and bodies. The number of issuances it has arranged and promoted since 2010 reached 15 offerings with a total value of EGP 9bn.

Banque Misr is currently seeking to work with a group of bond issuers to issue bonds to other companies in the Egyptian market.

According to the bank, this comes as part of its efforts to develop the activity of investment banks, in order to strengthen the debt instruments market, as an important source of financing for investments, and to activate the bank’s strategy to become a destination for all investors’ needs.
