Al-Sisi meets Kenyan counterpart to discuss bilateral relations

The meeting was held in Cairo during a brief visit by the Kenyan president to Egypt

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on Wednesday received his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta in Cairo, discussing bilateral relations.

The last meeting between both leaders took place in February as they discussed development projects between the Nile Basin countries, as well as the situations of African countries.

In a similar context, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry headed to Ghana on Wednesday and delivered a message from Al-Sisi to Ghanaian president Nana Akufo-Addo that focused on the two countries’ bilateral relations.

On the sidelines of the 27th African Union (AU) summit held in Kigali last June, Al-Sisi met with his counterparts from Sudan, Togo, Ghana, and Rwanda.
