Egyptians Karim Abdel Gawad, champion of 2017 J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions and ranked first internationally; Tarek Momen, ranked the eighth internationally; and Omar Abdel Meguid, will play at the tournament’s first round on 2 February.

If Egypt’s Mohamed Reda survives the qualifying round of the tournament, four Egyptians will be playing at the Swedish Open’s first round.
