The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) dismissed rumours about the resignation of CBE governor Tarek Amer, adding that Amer will willingly complete his four-year constitutional term.
The CBE said in a statement on Wednesday that its board of directors strongly deplores the unethical acts of the media which negatively affect Egypt’s economy and Amer, who has great experience in Egyptian and international banks.
