US cars acquired 13% of the Egyptian market, with a value of EGP 3.99bn.

US brands sold 24,800 cars, 13.8% of the total market.

The Chevrolet Lanos overtook Aveo for the top spot among US cars, achieving EGP 689m in sales with 7,882 cars sold.

The Aveo sold 7,792 cars for about EGP 851m, and the Chevrolet Optra came in third place achieving sales estimated at around EGP 382m, with 3,063 cars sold.
