Assailants attacked an Al-Ahram Foundation bus and injured at least six people on the road to 6th of October City, state-owned Al-Ahram newspaper reported on Friday.

The employees have been taken to 6th of October hospital, and three of them are in critical condition.

The Arabic Al-Ahram news portal alleged that the attackers, who attacked the bus and escaped, were Muslim Brotherhood members, while the English-language Ahram Online did not identify the assailants.

The state-owned Al-Ahram Foundation is the institution that produces all Al-Ahram publications, including daily and weekly print newspapers.
