Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Algerian counterpart Ramtane Lamamra Saturday evening to discuss bilateral relations between Egypt and Algeria, according to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement on Saturday.

Shoukry also met with his Moroccan counterpart Salah El-din Mezwar.

The ministers reviewed the preparations and agenda for the Arab League Council of Foreign Ministers meeting to take place on Sunday, where regional issues will be discussed. These will focus particularly on the political and security developments in Palestine and Libya.

The agenda will also include a discussion about the latest development of the Syrian crisis, the situation in Iraq and ways to deal with the phenomenon of terrorism, the statement read.
