CAIRO: Ahly trio Mohamed Abou-Trika, Hossam Ashour and Afrotto will be able to feature against ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League despite their respective injuries, according to football director Hadi Khashaba.

All three players sustained different injuries while training on Monday but Khashaba says they will be fit for Thursday’s match.

"Abou-Trika, Ashour and Afrotto are fine. They just picked up knocks, nothing more," Khashaba told Ahly’s official site.

"The training session witnessed a lot of enthusiasm and many harsh challenges. Everybody is looking for a spot in the starting line-up."

On the other hand, Ahly defender Ahmed Al-Sayed will miss the game as he hasn’t recuperated from an abdominal injury yet.
