Unaudited net profit at Egyptian cigarette monopoly Eastern Company fell 52 percent to LE 73 million for the quarter to the end of September, the bourse said on Sunday. Eastern made LE 150.6 million in the same period a year earlier. July to September is the first quarter of the firm’s financial year.
