CAIRO: Zamalek reserve keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef is not worried by the speculation linking Egypt number one goalie Essam Al-Hadari with a move from Ismaili.

Although the link has been played down by football director Ibrahim Hassan and Al-Hadari himself, recent reports suggested that the Whites are keen on the unsettled guardian.

Zamalek captain and first-choice keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed implied on Sunday that he might be leaving if the talks with Al-Hadari proved to be serious, but his deputy has another opinion.

Al-Hadari is welcomed here. His arrival will not change my thoughts, Abdul-Monsef told FilGoal.com.

I said before that I will make a final decision on my future with the club at the end of the season, but in the meantime, I hope to avoid any problems, so I won t talk in detail.

Abdul-Monsef, who hardly featured between the Zamalek posts this season, has been promised first-team football by the management, forcing him to backtrack on his earlier exit plans.

The 31-year-old has been usually playing second-fiddle behind Al-Sayed, who is considered as a backup for Al-Hadari in the Egypt squad.
