CAIRO: Hull City manager Phil Brown confirmed his interest in Zamalek striker Amr Zaki regarding a loan move in January.

He is a player we are interested in. But I also spoke to another international player on Friday night, Brown said after Saturday s draw at Tottenham.

Zamalek said over the weekend that they have allowed Zaki to undergo a medical at an unnamed Premiership club.

Amid several reports linking him with Hull, the Tigers chairman Adam Pearson clarified that the Egypt striker is only shortlisted among possible other targets.

It is believed that Zaki is desperate to make a comeback to the Premiership, following a turbulent spell with Wigan last season.
