CAIRO: Belgian referee Frank de Bleeckere will preside over the Cairo derby between Ahly and Zamalek in the Egyptian Premiere League on Tuesday.

De Bleeckere officiated both sides encounter last April, which ended in a goalless draw.

The 43-year-old, who started to pursue a career as a referee in 1984, got his FIFA badge in 1998.

Throughout his career, De Bleeckere was assigned for a number of pivotal games, including Argentina- Ivory Coast, Croatia-Japan, England-Ecuador and Italy-Ukraine in the 2006 World Cup.

He also refereed several games in Euro 2008.
