CAIRO: Ahly and Egypt striker Emad Meteb is set to return to full training on Sunday, after more than four months out, the Red Devils said.

The 26-year-old suffered a knee injury during his loan stint with Saudi Arabia s Ittihad Jeddah last season.

He has been working on a rehab program with Ahly after finishing the loan spell with Ittihad, where the club won the Saudi league.

Meteb will return after Thursday s league opener with Ghazl Mahalla, which means he could be available for the second game against Police Union.
