CAIRO: The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has named Hussein Fahmi as Chief of the Referees Committee to replace Gamal Al-Ghandour.

Al-Ghandour stepped down and Hussein Fahmi will replace him, the President of the EFA Samir Zaher told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

Al-Ghandour received a hefty offer to head the United Arab Emirates Referees Committee and he will start his mission in the next few days.

He told us he won t be able to assume his responsibilities and we couldn t stand against his wishes, concluded Zaher.
