CAIRO: Ismaili have signed Tanta midfielder Ehab Saied on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee, the Dervishes said on Friday.

Saied is Ismaili s third signing in the close season following the arrival of Mohamed Omar and Mohamed Ali from Al-Gaish and Koroum, respectively.

Despite securing a place in the CAF Champions League after finishing the Egyptian League as runners-up, Ismaili opted against moving for big names.

They continued their traditional policy of luring young talents to Ismailia.

Meanwhile, Ismaili board is yet to decide over who will manage the team next season.

Emad Soliman, who steered the team to a second-place finish behind league champions Ahli, has resigned as Ismaili coach.

Former Zamalek s Brazilian coach Carlos Cabral has been linked with the vacant managerial seat.
