CAIRO: Ahmed Hassan scored twice to help Ghazl Mahalla claim a 4-2 home victory over Aluminum in the Egyptian League on Saturday.

Mohamed Abdel Shafi and Al-Bassiouni Mahmoud were also on the score sheet, leading Mahalla to an impressive win.

Two goals from Ivorian striker Ingrid Digba and Yasser Mostafa weren t enough for Aluminum.

The victory put Mahalla in seventh place with 29 points as they virtually guaranteed top-division safety.

Aluminum are 10th on 22 points, just four points clear of the relegation zone.
