ISMAILIA: Saudi Arabia eased past Sudan s Olympic team 2-0 in their Pan Arab Games opener in Ismailia on Wednesday.

Defender Reda Tukar put the Saudis ahead after 16 minutes when he headed home Mohamed Al-Shalhoub s cross.

Hilal midfielder Omar Al-Ghamdi sealed the victory two minutes from time with a low drive from outside the area.

Sudan finished with 10 men after Hassan Isaac Korongo received his marching orders.

Sudan are second in the tournament with three points, adrift of leaders Egypt on goal difference.
