CAIRO: Inter Milan star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the Golden ball for the Swedish player of the Year on Monday while Rami Shaaban won the best keeper award.

The 26-year old striker has been inspirational for Inter in their Scudetto quest and finished as the top scorer of the Serie A with 15 goals.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian-born keeper, Rami Shaaban won the keeper award after winning with Fredrikstad the Norwegian Cup last season, their first ever major title.

Tobias Linderoth (Galatasaray, Tur) was named best midfielder and Petter Hanssen (Rennes) the best defender.
