CAIRO: Egyptian manager Mohamed Omar stepped down from his job as a head coach of Jordan giants Al-Wehdat after only one game in charge.

I resigned as the board refused to let me choose my assistants and assign a national staff, Omar told FilGoal.com.

Omar, who made his debut against Gaish on Monday, succeeded his fellow countryman Ismail Youssef who was sacked last week.
