CAIRO: New signing Sherif Ashraf could make his Zamalek debut after being selected by manager Ruud Krol for Thursday s league game against Enppi

The 20-year-old striker, who made controversial move from Zamalek s arch rivals al Ahly two weeks ago, has been leading the headlines recently despite not playing a single senior game.

Zamalek also welcome back defender Yamen ben Zekri for the first time this season, after the Tunisian recovered from injury.

Ben Zekri s inclusion came at the expense of his compatriot Wissem El-Abdi, who returned late from international duty.

Skipper Hazem Emam was axed, alongside Tarek Al-Sayed, Gamal Hamza and Jordan s Khaled Saad, who seems to be out of favor since signing this summer.

First-choice goalkeeper Abdel Wahed Al Sayed, who recently recovered from a serious knee injury, was ruled out as he is yet to gain his fitness.
