Zamalek striker Amr Zaki is banned for one league match plus a fine of LE 5,000 for verbal abuse of Mohamed Farouk the referee of Zamalek and Baladeya game that was held last Saturday.

Egyptian Football Association board member Ayman Younes told FilGoal.com that the decision was taken by the disciplinary committee late on Wednesday.

The Whites number 9 was caught on TV offending the referee.

After being found guilty by the EFA, Zaki will miss Wednesday s game against Ittihad of Alexandria in day 3 of the Egyptian League.
