Cairo: Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly lost four teeth in a collision with Portsmouth defender Noe Pamarot during their 1-1 draw in the Premiership.

Ghaly wasn t even awarded a foul and Tottenham manager Martin Jol was left fuming over the challenge.

I asked the referee and he said it wasn t a foul but when I looked at it again I thought it was cynical, the Dutch coach said on Monday.

Most people would have gone to hospital and stayed there a week with that injury.

Pamarot s boot powerfully hit Ghaly s face and forced him to leave the pitch for nearly ten minutes but he returned to the game before being replaced during the interval.

[Ghaly] went back on to play and it was only later I noticed some dangerous signs and took him off again for the second half, Jol added.

According to BBC Sport, Ghaly is set to make a comeback in a two-week time.
