City Edge Developments has announced the launch of Phase 2 at its Mazarine Islands development in New Alamein City, after the project’s first phase was successfully sold out.

The high demand seen at projects developed by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and marketed by City Edge Developments, reflects the customer’s understanding of the value of these projects.

City Edge Chairperson Ashraf Salman said that the development will help promote the Egyptian government’s plan of year-round residency at developments along the country’s North Coast.

Salman also said that the success of the Mazarine Islands development’s first phase reflects the high confidence and trust that customers place in the company’s projects, especially those located in New Alamein City.

He added that these projects highlight New Alamein City as a fully integrated and fully functional year-round residential area, and highlight the sustainability of Egypt’s fourth generation cities.

Mohamed El-Mikawi, CEO of City Edge Developments, said that the Towers in New Alamein City are the first of their kind to be constructed on the southern Mediterranean Coast. At 44 floors each, the towers are not only the tallest buildings in Egypt, but also the first national project to feature skyscrapers with a view over the North Coast shoreline.

“Mazarine Islands is a project in New Alamein City overlooking the residential towers with close proximity to the North Square, the largest commercial project on the North Coast,” El-Mikawi said, “The project extends over an area of 707 feddans that comprises a variety of fully finished residential units, including standalone villas, twin houses and luxury chalets surrounded by the deepest shades of blue and lush greenery.”

Mazarine Islands is located on an area of about 128 feddans, and consists of 285 contemporary designed villas, with unit sizes ranging from 364 sqm to 672 sqm.
