Nissan Motor Egypt has announced the launch of the international brand’s all-new second-generation Juke model on the Egyptian market.

The updated model features a sporty coupe design, a larger and more spacious interior than the car model’s first generation, and many noticeable technologies and features.

“Our plan is to work on upgrading the cars that we launch to meet the requirements of customers in Egypt,” said Mike Whitfield, Chairperson and Managing Director of Nissan Motor Egypt. ”Nissan is the only company that owns 100% of its factory in Egypt, and our goal is to become the preferred choice for customers in the Egyptian auto market of various classes and models.”

Dimensions

The second generation Nissan Juke, which is assembled in the UK, is characterised by larger dimensions and a more spacious interior to provide more comfort for the driver and passengers. The new car is 4.210 metres long, 1.8 metres wide, and 1.595 metres high. It comes with a wheelbase length of 2.636 metres. It also has the largest boot capacity of all cars of the same class, at 422 litres.

Fuel-saving engine

The new Nissan Juke features a 1.0-litre turbo-charged three-cylinder engine, which gives the car 117 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. The new engine is considered the best in fuel economy among all cars of the same class thanks to Nissan’s advanced technologies. Additionally, it has automatic transmission with DCT technology at seven speeds. Drivers have the possibility to enjoy driving with a manual transmission by switching between the gearshift and automatic via pedals.

Stylish sporty design

The second generation of Nissan Juke is considered an evolutionary milestone in the sporty design of SUV cars. The design is both streamlined and elegant, with modern dynamic lines, and the presence of a front grille V-Motion, which characterises many newer Nissan models. It also boasts a moving roof, as well as headlights with a distinctive circular design and strong lighting, making the new Nissan Juke look like a coupe.

The new model’s interior design focuses on providing the best comfort, safety, and luxury for the driver and passengers, as it features sporty seats, air conditioning vents, and a distinctive D-shaped multi-function steering wheel. The car is available in three different classes for the two-colour interior saloon, with black mixed with alcantara for the highest level of elegance, alongside white, black, and, for energy and vitality, orange.

The second generation Nissan Juke has a BOSE® PERSONAL® PLUS audio system with eight speakers, an 8-inch touch screen, and voice recognition. It also has a smartphone connection to the car, via Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

Improved technologies

The Nissan Juke contains many safety features, which have received the highest rating from the European Program for the Evaluation of New Cars (EURO NCAP). These include an advanced strong body, which was designed using the strongest types of supports in the body’s main areas, to improve rigidity while allowing bumpers to absorb and reduce the weight of the car by 65kg. This is in addition to a TPMS system that monitors tire pressure, and a High Beam Assist feature that increases lighting when needed.

New Nissan Juke classes

The new Nissan Juke is available in the Egyptian market in three categories, the first of which is the Nissan Juke Asenta. This model comes with LED front fog lights, Cruise Control, Paddle shifters, semi-automatic transmission, 17-inch sport wheels, manual air conditioning, and rear parking sensors.

The Nissan Juke Asenta contains an anti-lock brakes sensor (ABS) that prevent the car from slipping, and an EBD feature that distributes the brakes evenly across the car to maintain even stability. In addition to this, the model boasts VDC technology, which contributes to the dynamic control of the car, as well as six airbags to protect the driver and all passengers.

The second category is the Nissan Juke Techna which, in addition to all previous features, contains electronic-folding mirrors and wipers that contain rain sensors. It also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather seats, automatic parking brake, a keyless unlock system, and automatic air conditioning. It also has 19-inch sporty wheels and BOSE sound system with eight speakers.

The third category of the new Nissan Juke, the Tekna Perso, features an elegant and attractive two-tone interior saloon.

The second generation of the all-new Nissan Juke is expected to achieve great success in the Egyptian market due to the car’s characteristics. Its design makes it the ideal choice for all customers who prefer a strong sporty performance with the best safety and luxury.

The prices of the new model start at EGP 348,500 for the first class, EGP 372,500 for the second, and EGP 379,500 for the third class.
