A group of Egyptian expats offered to establish a medical city at the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram said on the sidelines of signing a cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) on Sunday.

Makram and Mohamed Abdel Wahb, executive director of GAFI, agreed to establish a special unit at GAFI to facilitate procedures of establishing new projects by Egyptian expats.

“We will make a list of all Egyptian expats wishing to invest in the country, to facilitate the contact between them and GAFI,” Makram said.

Makram and Abdel Wahab inspected the GAFI’s Investors Services Centre, where they met with local investors and discussed ways of integrating Egyptian expats into the country’s development process, a statement from GAFI said.
