Sudan has lifted a two-year ban on Egyptian agricultural products, Sudanese media reported on Wednesday.
This comes amid several decisions made in October 2018 when President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi visited Sudan.
The decision stipulated that imports and exports between the two countries would be carried out by licensed companies only, and that any product that doesn’t match specifications, health requirements, and applicable laws will not be allowed into the country.
The ban started in 2016 on all Egyptian imports of vegetables, fruits, and fish over accusations of contamination.
